There have been a number of Project Glass design patents over the year that have excited both pure "Andoiders" and the general tech community at large. The glasses were even gallantly presented on the runway of Diane von Furstenberg's fashion show in September. Yet one of Google's latest Project Glass designs were apparently missed by the media, until now that is. The latest design appears to present a rounder, smoother design with the mini display on a flex-arm.
Google Wins another Design Patent for Project Glass
Google has been granted design patent D671,589 S representing yet another design form factor for their upcoming Project Glass head mounted computer that was formerly introduced earlier this year. The design patent that was granted last month was missed by the media, until now. Below are two sets of patent figures presenting various angles of the new glasses.
Google credits their Senior Industrial Designer Maj Isabelle Olsson as the designer noted in this granted patent that was originally filed in May 2012.
