Patently Mobile has discovered that the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office has published Samsung's latest trademark filing for "S6 Edge +" under registration number 86676374. The filing was officially published last week. With Samsung's new "S6 Edge + trademark" almost confirming a 5.7" display model is on the way, the mystery quickly shifts to what they'll be doing with their next generation Galaxy Note to differentiate it enough beyond simply offering their S Pen. Will Samsung increase the Note's display size or will they introduce a dual-display design? Only time will tell.

The new trademark would strongly suggest that Samsung is copying Apple's two tier smartphone marketing approach represented by the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6-Plus. Two weeks ago we covered Samsung's "S6 Note" trademark filing.
