A day prior to Samsung's Galaxy UNPACKED event in San Francisco, the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) published Samsung's latest trademark filing for 'Bixby Routine.' The new trademark describes using Artificial Intelligence to make automatic setting changes according to a user's pattern of using their smartphones and other devices.

Samsung's trademark application in-part presented above was published earlier today by USPTO even though the actual filing was made last Thursday according to the filing.
Samsung filed their trademark under International Class 009 which covers the specifics as follows:
"Smartphones; Mobile telephones; Tablet computers; Portable computers; Smart watches; Wearable activity trackers; Wearable computers in the nature of smartwatches and smartglasses; Computer software for smartphones, tablet computers and wearable computer devices, namely, software for recommending frequently used settings based on analysis of usage pattern through machine learning and applying the settings automatically."
Back in November, the head of Samsung’s AI division Chung Eui-suk, told developers that Bixby will be included with their first foldable smartphone debuting tomorrow.
